Understanding that education is vital to independence and success for women, ‘Manda returned to university as a mature student and gained degrees in communications (with a focus on intercultural communication) and human resource management.

‘Manda has lectured and tutored at Universities and Polytechnics and spent several years in operational and strategic organisational development roles, including leading the Equality and Diversity Policy and related work across the Public Service.

‘Manda recently joined the Department of Corrections, where she looks after official correspondence for Prison Services, while still making time for her busy family and the NHWT.
