The latest round of awards has just been completed.  Once again we had applications from many deserving women.  How we wish we could help them all.

From all the applicants we chose 18 winners of awards towards 2^nd chance education and 7 research and special awards.

Of special interest are two inaugural awards, the Peg Hutchison Opportunity Award for women who are  training in an area that is not traditional for women and the Janus – 1995 NGO research award for preparing a report for the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW).
