2010 Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting of the New Horizons for Women Trust will be held in Wellington on Friday 26 March 2010
Time: 6pm
Place: Level 2, Sport Wellington, 113 Adelaide Road, Wellington
We will start with light refreshments before the formal part of the meeting at 6.30pm.
The venue has lift access and there is on street parking on Adelaide Road, Drummond Street and King Street.

2010 Preloved Fashion Sale
2010 Saturday 13 March 9am – noon at Wellington Methodist Parish, 75 Taranaki Street
This sale raised over $12000 on the day. After expenses the net amount will be split between the New Horizons Trust for Women and the Women’s Network of Changemakers’ Refugee Forum.

2009 Awards Ceremonies
The 2009 award ceremonies celebrated the achievements of a further 26 women who are undertaking second chance education or research on issues related to women or peace.
“…New Horizons, in supporting women to take on second chance learning and new research opportunities, is engaged in social change and helping to eliminate poverty from our community.
That’s because we know that a mother’s education is crucial to the educational prospects of her children. Because we know that education is the key to eliminating inter-generational poverty”.
