The New Horizons for Women Trust is a charitable organisation that was established in 1991 to provide grants for women in New Zealand to develop their potential through:

• encouraging, fostering and promoting opportunities for their education or training
• promoting, initiating and supporting research relating to women and girls in New Zealand
• promoting projects for women that extends their opportunities and enhances their quality of life
• seeking public support, including financial support, for furthering the aims of the Trust.
